  1. So its Big Al ,male, small girl and princess (with head sprig), females. As usual the male is prettier with day-glo green and blue on the head, depending on the light, and a color which has been called "claret" on the breast. I thought the white ring around the neck would never develop, but there it is!
Egg laying and much carousing to ensue in the future I am sure.

  2. You can definitely tell them apart now! Good looking creatures.

Hope you didn't take my friend's comment seriously; she was just chirping away. :)

  3. Now we will count to twelve and we will all keep still for once on the face of the earth, let's not speak in any language; let's stop for a second, and not move our arms so much.

  7. Hi Goatman, well the ducks began to stink in school so the girl who brought in the eggs ended up selling two of the little guys to another student and kept the other for herself. She is raising ducks and rabbits and then she has been selling them to help feed and pen the others.
The two that got sold I still see from time to time as I am friends with the mother of the student. They live in a huge completly covered pen with a huge house of their own, a swimming pool (kiddie size), and all kinds of things to walk up and down on! If I were a duck, I would love to live there!!

In the animal kingdom males are usually more colourful, becuas ethey have to impress the female and compete with other males.

  10. Those ducks look great now, they were so little and fragile before, now, they are lookin tough. Sassy too. Ducks are. Attitudes. Good for them, more the better. If you are a duck, what is life for, if not a bit of sass now and then. I enjoy seein them Goatman. Take care of them.
