Voices In Time
It is only through art that we can escape from ourselves and know how another person sees a universe which is not the same as our own and whose landscapes would otherwise have remained as unknown as any there may be on the moon
Marcel Proust
"Poetry is the dark side of the moon, it's up there, and you can see the front of it. But what it is isn't what you're loooking at. It's behind what you're looking at."
Charles Wright -- American Poet Laureate

ReplyDeleteIt is good.
I've spent most of my life being "the proverbial bull in the china shop" (or in my case, Tiger in the china shop) but I am getting better about not letting so many things get under my skin. I thought for sure my flame would have been snuffed out by now.
Take Care!
