Peace

dull words move ratchety
clunky like squared wheels

stuck in my head--useless repeated detritus:
like
you know
clearly
hopefully
awesome
basically
actually
embolden (thanks dick)
to be honest
so . . . on and on

Oh to string a set so perfect
you could wear them like proud pearls

words giddy with anticipation
of expression flowing rhyming
with exact timing
smoothing the edges perfect hedges
found meaning in words revealing

Down a path of morning light not too bright
to a dunesandy edge of the open sea
edge of the world where succinct and understanding
live in secret places waiting to be found

I wish I had a map

  1. You've already found them. How creative this is...

"words giddy with anticipation"...I love this line and the way you led up to it.

I hope you're feeling better, these days, and being patient before tackling any big physical jobs.

Thanks for the post...it was lovely and flowed really well.

I know that feeling very well. Often I will have an idea for a great story smoothly rolling around in my head until I get home and everything then becomes clumsy and vague.

surreal. Lately .. have been to such lovely places that I've started believing in the whimsical. I loved that part... though maps confuse me further .. but then I can always ask for your help :)

I trust you are recovering well and we'd get to read more on your space..
    take care.
